We couldn't have been happier. From the moment when we were first contacted by the Host we knew that we had made the right choice of accommodation for our stay in Manly. She was incredibly helpful in providing us information both on the apartment and things to do and see. We were met and guided up to the apartment and told everything we could possibly need to know. Excellent service would be an understatement. The apartment was lovely, spotless and very comfortable with everything we could possibly need to make our stay a memorable one. Absolutely magnificent. We visit Manly often and have stayed in many places. This was our first visit to Manly Seaside Bliss and we will never stay anywhere but here again. It was absolutely perfect, conveniently located, had everything we required in the unit. Excellent 1bedroom ocean view apartment in Manly. The perfect beach side 1 bedroom apartment. Walk out your door to a beautiful ocean beach, the center of Manly (shops, cafes, restaurants), easy access to Sydney downtown via ferry. The apartment was immaculate, well equipped. Wonderful place to stay and enjoy all that Manly has to offer. This apartment has it all. A wonderful location in the centre of a great holiday town, with great transport options to explore Sydney and beyond. Fantastic views over Manly beach from the 9th floor balcony and excellent amenities, including good kitchen facilities and a completely separate bedroom. The hosts are attentive and very helpful. Great place to stay This apartment is really centrally located, just a very short walk to the beach, ferry, shops, lots of restaurants, but away from the noise. View is great as you look over the low buildings in front. We even saw whales from the balcony (using the binoculars provided). The apartment is well set up, including with dishes to use in the microwave - which are lacking in many apartments. Good quality sheets and towels. Memorable Stay Excellent location close to the wharf and even closer to the Beach in Manly. But also near Sydney at Circular Quay after a really enjoyable 20-30 ferry ride... Amazing view of the ocean and Shelly Bay. Near shops, supermarkets, restaurants and all other services. Clean and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen and even beach towels ready to go... Jenny was kind enough to greet us near the Wharf when we arrived and to show us all we had to know about the appartment and the surroundings. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. In short, we highly recommended Jenny's apartment if you plan a visit to Manly Beach. Our stay at Manly Seaside Bliss far exceeded our already high expectations! We stayed at Manly Seaside Bliss for a week between two month-long cruises that began in Sydney. We had purchased loaded Opal cards at the airport as others have suggested, and navigating to and from our cruises between Manly and Sydney via the Sydney ferries was seamless. Walking the short distance with our luggage to and from the apartment....no problem. Hands down, this was the best week of our entire 10-week vacation! We are always skeptical when we see a listing that has so many 5-star reviews...but Manly Seaside Bliss truly has all the comforts of home (and more) and is worth every single star given by previous reviewers. In addition to the details already provided by the previous reviewers, we would like to add that the building and apartment are very secure, and the WiFi is via a private connection. Inclusion within the apartment of an iron, ironing board, and drying rack; with plenty of washers and dryers nearby (separate rooms on the rooftop, near the pool) was much appreciated since we were away from home for so long. Jenny's organizational skills and attention to detail are excelled by few. She went so far as to ensure that we could bluetooth the music on our tablets through the soundbar below the television as part of her orientation briefing! With the fear of Manly Seaside Bliss being booked solidly into the future, would we recommend this vacation rental to our best friends? Absolutely! And, YES, we will definitely be back! Could not have picked a better place to stay. We absolutely LOVED Manly Seaside Bliss! The view is outstanding! A perfect location just minutes from Manly Beach, Manly Wharf, restaurants and about anything you can name. The apartment has everything you need including an air-con! Walk in and switch off at this perfect apartment. We have just returned from our second stay in this absolutely fantastic apartment and will be returning again. Everything you need is catered for, it is spotless and located only a few short steps from Manly Beach, transport and restaurants. Just sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean and the views of Manly makes relaxing very easy. You can do as much or as little as you want and it is a great base for those wanting to see all city highlights. Ideal location for a visit to Sydney. I stayed at Manly Sea Bliss in June 2016. Getting there. If you are coming into either the international or domestic airports I recommend that you buy an Opal card. These are available from the shop in the Arrivals concourse once you have cleared customs. I recommend you put A$40 credit on your card to start with & this will get you to Manly with credit to spare. The Opal card can be used on all public transport incl. the ferry to Manly. The train down to Circular Quay takes 10 mins. Get off the train, go down the stairs & walk to Quay 3 for the ferry to Manly (2mins). The ferry takes 30mins & ferries leave every 30mins. The ferry passes Sydney Opera House & Harbour Bridge & is a great start to your visit. Once at the terminal it takes 5mins to walk on flat ground to the apartment & is easily found. You can top up your Opal card in the newsagents at the ferry terminal or at Humphreys newsagents on the right up the Corso. Every time you use the card the machine shows you how much credit you have so there,s no chance of getting caught out. Just remember to leave A$20 credit for the train journey back. The apartment is on the 9th floor of a centrally located block. There is a lift. The accommodation is excellent. It has a full range of kitchen utilities, A nice comfy bed & a bathroom with a bath & a shower. There is a sitting room area & a balcony with a table & chairs. The view from the balcony is as shown in the brochure. Manly is a great place to stay for a visit to Sydney. It is away from the hectic centre & is a resort on it,s own. All the resort is on flat ground so great for walking to get around. There are loads of restaurants/pubs to cater for all tastes & budgets. I am an Old Aged Pensioner & always feel safe in Manly. I have visited Manly on many occasions & stayed in similarly priced accommodation. This is by far the best. The owners Jenny & Lloyd are brilliant. They let me hold the accommodation for a day whilst I matched up flights. They send you a comprehensive brochure which explains getting there, using the apartment & visiting Sydney. Jenny was on holiday whilst I was there but she even called me from her holiday in France to say that she had heard it had turned a bit cold in Oz & that there was a heater under the stairs!. If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay look no further. First of all the owner Jenny, from the moment of booking and during our whole stay, could not have been more helpful. Instead of a holiday rental it was like Jenny was a friend letting you use their place for the holidays. The apartment has everything you could need, is freshly decorated throughout and very comfortable with a lovely balcony with views across to Manly beach. It is perfectly situated within 5 minutes walk of anything you may need, from the Ferry terminal, main bus stop, 2 mins walk to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Jenny provided lots of useful information before our stay on things we might like to do and see, I would recommend hiring of bikes, it all made our stay so pleasurable. The apartment block itself is quite quiet which is good (no noisy neighbours) etc so you can have a lovely night in or night out to explore all the great places around. Just Bliss. I wanted to stay somewhere central in Manly with easy access to the sea, town and ferries. Manly Seaside Bliss delivered on all fronts plus the apartment was just perfect for my needs. I was looking for a place I could chill out and relax and I was totally satisfied. The views from the balcony were also excellent. The sea air plus the super bed knocked me out every night; I just slept so well I was fully recharged every morning. I had to work now and then but fortunately the wifi enabled this no problem (skype calls and video conferences were not a problem with the UK). This was just perfect. Awesome location, great view and comfortable apartment. We really loved our stay at Manly Seaside Bliss. This apartment is in an amazing location in downtown Manly in easy walking distance to just about everything you would need including grocery stores, restaurants, the ferry terminal, parks, hiking/running trails and several great beaches. It’s on the ninth floor with super views of the beach on one side and the manly oval on the other. The proprietors have done a good job of anticipating your every need. The apartment has cooking equipment, high bandwidth WiFi, a high definition television, a good movie library, and even a local cell phone you can borrow. If you’re visiting manly for work or pleasure, I can’t imagine a better place or location. The proprietors, Jenny and Lloyd, are super nice. It was a pleasure to meet them both and get to know them. We'll stay again. We stayed at Manly Seaside Bliss for 4 nights and wholeheartedly recommend this apartment. The location is ideal, surrounded by the restaurants and shops (but no noise from these), 2 minutes walk to the ocean beach (which the apartment overlooks) and 4 minutes walk to the harbour side and the Manly ferry. Jenny and Lloyd met us at the apartment and they could not have been more friendly or more helpful. The apartment is compact and well equipped. We ate out most of the time but it was obvious that the kitchen was well equipped and would have been easy to prepare meals in. The bed was very comfortable and the privacy afforded by the height of the apartment meant we could leave the bedroom window open. The winning feature though has to be the little balcony overlooking the ocean. Coffee and croissants there in the morning and a glass or two of wine there in the evening. One morning we watched a small pod if whales swim by. We always choose Manly as our Sydney base because it has the right mix of local life and tourist amenity. We'll stay again. Seaside Bliss Apartment lived up to its name. The welcome from the owners Jenny and Lloyd was truly warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our Holiday in this apartment was truly bliss. Everything was clean and as the photos show extremely comfortable, as was the bed; and well appointed. It was wonderful getting up to a hot, sunny day and sliding the patio window back to sit on the balcony with a glass of fresh orange juice.The sea view is spectacular and there is always a lovely cooling sea breeze which wafts through the apartment. White cockatoos and multi coloured parrots fly nearby calling to each other. There are some lovely restaurants close to the apartment on the sea front.We ate at chinese, mexican; greek, and had the best steak we have had for ages. It is near the Corso and the Manly ferry which takes you to Sydney Harbour, then you can travel on' hop on hop off ' ferries and buses to see more of the city and area. Manly itself is a terrific place to be, the atmosphere is vibrant, casual and amazing. The apartment is so well placed for all this! Just writing about it makes me want to return. The building is very secure and there is a laundry facility on the top floor, also a small plunge pool. The apartment was a home from home. Don't take my word for it go and experience for yourself. Excellent hospitality! As I travel very often and various places I would stay from five star international hotel to road side motel etc. I must say Manly Seaside Bliss has got warmest hospitality I experienced over these several years. Owner Jenny has "what can I do for you" attitude that even five stars hotel cannot offer these days. This time I took my family with me and it was first time for my kids to be away from home during Christmas time. Jenny organized little Christmas tree so kids can have Christmas morning away from home. (my kids are 5 & 2) Great location, great view, clean room and has got everything you need for comfortable stay. I would highly recommend people planning to stay in Manly. Ichiro. December 2013.

Excellent holiday venue. We stayed with our 18 month old and had a wonderful time. The location was excellent, seconds from the beach and the apartment was very clean and very well laid out. We had no problems having our little one with us and Jenny and Lloyd were very helpful and made sure that we had the best time possible. Awesome view, great location. The apartment is on the top floor, and has amazing views of Manly Beach from the living room/patio. Opening the patio doors and the bedroom window lets a great, fresh sea breeze flow through the apartment. It has a large TV (great for watching cricket) and the owner also has 50+ recent movies loaded on there to watch. Also very good WiFi. The location is great - right next to the Corso, just one block from the beach and 2-3 blocks from the ferry. The patio is a little small to have a BBQ there, but the apartment building has a BBQ area on the rooftop with loads of space. Also on the roof is a laundry, which was handy. Blissful Break + Amazing Sea View. The apartment is on the top floor and has a fabulous direct view of Manly Beach and Shelley Cove and you can see this as you have breakfast on the balcony. There is also a rooftop BBQ and plunge pool with same view. The bed is super comfortable and bathroom has a full size bath with shower. Great extras were included such as coffee machine, dishwasher, free Wi-Fi, DVD Library, iphone speaker. Opening windows to front and back let in lovely sea-breeze, but there is air-con as well for hot days. Manly itself is great. The apartment is steps away from the Corso, the beach and lots of yoga places and great cafes. There is a car-park if you want too which was very useful for me since I drove there. I used the car to get to the local Harris Farm Market for my Christmas shopping. Jenny also provided a Christmas tree and checked everything was OK multiple times and provided very clear instructions on how to get there and use stuff. Apartment was very clean. I thought this was great value for money. Would love to come again and the view is to die for!!!!! The apartment is aptly named as 'Seaside Bliss'. Rose. December 2013.

A real apartment. We stayed at Manly Seaside Bliss in August. It was a real apartment, full sized kitchen, and the separate bedroom allowed me read whilst my husband watched the footy on the huge TV in the lounge room. The central location was great and being on the top (ninth) floor, the views were terrific. Air con was also useful in mid winter and would be a nice addition in summer. The queen mattress was so good we wanted to take it home with us. Internet and WiFi were fast and a nice feature. For a top floor apartment with all the inclusions, the pricing was very good in comparison to other apartments we looked at in the same building. Terrific location. We stayed at Manly Seaside Bliss for a weekend in September. The apartment is on the top (9th) floor of a secure block which is just off the Corso and 50m from the beach. The beach view from the apartment is fantastic ... just as it is depicted in the photos. Jenny (the owner) has really tried to provide all the comforts, as well as some "unexpected niceties" such as a Gaggia espresso coffee machine and a large TV with a video library of recent movies. Manly was a buzz on the weekend, with weekly markets on a Saturday, and plenty of people enjoying the many cafes, bars and restaurants. The markets are just a stones throw from the apartment. We noticed that there is air conditioning in the apartment and a rooftop BBQ area, which would be just great during the summer months. We would recommend Manly Seaside Bliss to anyone wanting to stay in Manly.  Linda. August 2013.

We had a great stay in central avenue. It's an amazing spot right in the centre with the most incredible view of the famous Manly beach. There's a great little bakery just across the road plus the corso just around the corner. Jenny and Lloyd have been a pleasure to deal with. They are very easily contacted and really friendly. They have made our stay here most enjoyable and easy. The wall mounted tv in the lounge with an array of movies programmed in which has been great for a quiet night in. The unit was clean was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is modern with a great fan oven (perfect for my baking needs!) - the dishwasher is handy for the clearing up too. The bed is a queen and super comfy. The wifi internet is really fast too. We will certainly miss the view - waking up to that everyday has been amazing. The roof top pool and BBQ facilities were great, but if it all gets too much the hot shower and cooling air-con is very handy. Overall, a great place to stay. Will and Sally. November 2013.
